The May Museum depicts the cultural and commercial heritage of the Farmville area from Colonial times up until the present. Located in the Farmville Historic District in a 1870s residence, it displays local history through both permanent exhibits and special programs. One of its highlights are a collection of 19th and 20th century quilts displayed on a rotating basis.
